Rotaract Club of Siddharthanagar, in coordination with Siddharthanagar Municipality, successfully hosted and organized an awareness program on the prevention of harmful social practices such as child labor, child marriage, dowry, witchcraft accusations, and Chhaupadi.
The program was conducted on 16th June 2026 at Bhairahawa Namuna Secondary School, Siddharthanagar–5 under the presidentship of Rtr. Jeevanath Acharya.
The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Deputy Mayor Uma Adhikari as the Chief Guest. We were also honored by the presence of our Club Advisors Rtn. Sarita Rana and Rtn. Ankit Paudel. The session was facilitated by Advocate Ajita Khadka and Advocate Sunita Bagle, who provided valuable insights on the legal and social dimensions of these issues.
The program was successfully conducted with active participation from students and making it a meaningful and impactful awareness session.We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful completion of this important initiative.
